Notice is hereby given that the Philadelphia Historical Commission will hold two public meetings to consider a proposal to designate the Central Mount Airy Commercial Historic District. The proposed historic district consists of 51 properties on the 7100 and 7200 blocks of Germantown Avenue and intersecting side streets in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The advisory Committee on Historic Designation of the Philadelphia Historical Commission will meet to review the proposal at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 15 January 2020 in Room 18-029 on the 18th floor of the municipal office building at 1515 Arch Street, which is known as the One Parkway Building. The Philadelphia Historical Commission will review the proposal and its committee's report at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, 14 February 2020 in the same meeting room, Room 18-029, 1515 Arch Street. Both meetings are open to the public and public comment on agenda items is welcomed. Documents related to the matter are available for public inspection in the Historical Commission's offices, 13th floor of 1515 Arch Street, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on the Historical Commission's website at www.phila.gov/historical.
