Committee on Public Health and Human Services of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
250936...Resolution authorizing the Committee on Public Health and Human Services to hold hearings to examine the impacts of the current crisis threatening the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP Ed) on food and nutrition security in Philadelphia, including barriers to accessing benefits, disruptions to nutrition education and outreach, consequences for residents, and opportunities for coordinated City and community response.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Public Health and Human Services, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.

SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority ("SEPTA") will be holding its Monthly Administration and Operations Committee Meetings ("Committee Meetings") on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 12:00 Noon and Monthly Board Meeting (the "Board Meeting") on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
The Committee Meetings and Board Meeting will be conducted in-person, with a WebEx option. Further information on how individuals can register to attend via WebEx will be posted on the Authority's website: www.septa.org.
Public comments will be accepted and considered. Anyone wishing to attend the meetings via WebEx must pre-register at www.septa.org/notice. Those wishing to speak at the meetings must pre-register by 9:00 AM on the day of the scheduled meeting at www.septa.org/notice. Individuals desiring to provide oral comments may call 215.580.7211 and submit such comments via voicemail message. Individuals wishing to file written comments may email them to the Board Secretary at BoardSecretary@septa.org or via U.S. mail to SEPTA Board Secretary, 10th Floor, 1234 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Only one form of communication is necessary.
Please note that all comments must be received by the Board Secretary by close of business on November 19, 2025, to be considered for the Board Meeting, or by close of business on November 12, 2025, to be considered for the Committee Meetings.
All comments received will become part of the public record and will be included in the transcript of the Board Meeting, which will be subsequently posted on the SEPTA website at www.septa.org. A recording of the Board Meeting will also be posted for viewing on SEPTA's website at www.septa.org/notice.
